1. Psychotherapy Services:
Amanda Saint-Louis Psychotherapy provides mental health counseling and psychotherapy services. These services are offered in accordance with applicable ethical standards and legal regulations.
2. Client Confidentiality:
Client confidentiality is of utmost importance. Information disclosed during therapy sessions is kept confidential unless disclosure is required by law or there is a risk of harm to the client or others. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
3. Appointments and Cancellations:
Clients are expected to attend scheduled appointments punctually. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Code of Conduct:
Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and ethically during therapy sessions. Any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, threats, or harassment, may result in termination of services.
5. Termination of Services:
Either the therapist or the client may terminate the therapeutic relationship at any time. The therapist reserves the right to terminate services if the client poses a risk to themselves or others.
6. Teletherapy Services:
Teletherapy services may be offered for the convenience of clients. Clients are responsible for ensuring a private and secure environment for virtual sessions. Technical issues may occur, and Amanda Saint-Louis Psychotherapy is not liable for interruptions beyond our control.
7. Professional Boundaries:
The therapeutic relationship is professional in nature. Personal relationships outside of therapy are discouraged to maintain ethical boundaries.
8. Emergency Situations:
In the event of a mental health emergency, clients should contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room. Amanda Saint-Louis Psychotherapy does not provide emergency services.
9. Changes to Terms of Service:
We reserve the right to update and modify these Terms of Service at any time. The effective date will be amended accordingly.
